Welcome!
Hi there! My name is Sufia Enas and welcome to my {new} website! I am so excited to present my exciting culinary adventures with you all. Many of you are returning followers and thank you so much for being patient with me while I was on a small hiatus. To those that are new, welcome and I hope you find this website helpful and fun!
A brief history about me. I am a first-generation Hyderabadi that grew up in Sweet Home Alabama. Even though I lived in a small town, I was profoundly submerged in the Hyderabadi culture. Even more so than the southern life that surrounded me outside the four walls of my house. We had a very full and lively home, consisting of grandparents, uncles, aunts, and my own little family of 6. Even though we didn't travel back to India very often to experience the culture first-hand, I had more than a good share of experiences at home that always kept my ties close to Hyderabad. Needless to say, I have grown up eating and savoring authentic Hyderabadi cuisine more than any other cuisine and that is what my tastebuds crave.
Fast forward to present-day, I married a Hyderabadi, am a full-time stay-at-home mom to 4 boys, and am raising my own family in the same state that I grew up loving. In order to keep the culture alive, I have worked very hard in providing my family the same culinary experiences I grew up in. This journey of food has brought me here today to help enable future generations pass on the culture and keep it thriving. So, come along and join me, as I give you my take on traditional Hyderabadi cuisine and other fun, easy recipes!
